Reversing entry
A mirror-image journal entry that cancels an earlier one without deleting it. How every correction is made, so both entries stay in the history.
In Solo Superstars
When you delete a posted bill, void a payment, or reopen a close, the app does not remove the original entry. It posts a new one with debits and credits swapped and links the two, so the net effect is zero and the trail is intact.
You can see the pair on the Journal entries page; the reversal names the entry it cancels.
Example
You recorded a $200 bill to 6210 Office Expenses by mistake. Deleting it posts: debit 2000 Accounts Payable 200, credit 6210 200. The original stays; the ledger nets to zero.
Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
