Owner contribution

Money or assets you put into the business as the owner. Not revenue; it raises your equity.

In Solo Superstars

Record it on the Owner equity page, or categorize a personal deposit to Owner’s Investment. Paying a business cost personally is also a contribution.

Example

Transfer 5,000 from personal savings: debit 1010 5,000, credit 3100 Owner’s Investment 5,000.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
