Monthly close

Declaring a month finished: everything categorized, statements reconciled, then locked so nothing older can change.

In Solo Superstars

Open Accounting › Close. The page shows the month’s readiness: review queue empty, bank accounts reconciled, clearing accounts at zero, trial balance footing. Alison prepares it and tells you when the month is ready; you press Close.

Example

August 2026: 0 to review, 2 of 2 accounts reconciled, clearing 0.00 → Close. Entries dated August 31 or earlier are now locked.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
