In Solo Superstars
Alison’s many small checks roll up into one "ready to close" item in your inbox rather than a stream of approvals. Until then the Close page lists what is blocking.

- Monthly close — Declaring a month finished: everything categorized, statements reconciled, then locked so nothing older can change.
- Close exception — Something that blocks a monthly close: an uncategorized transaction, an unreconciled statement, an unbalanced clearing account.
- Close readiness probe — One of the automated integrity checks a close runs: trial balance foots, no uncategorized lines, clearing accounts at zero, no gaps in statements.
- Approval — A change Alison has prepared but will not apply until you say yes. Approving posts it; rejecting discards it and she remembers why.
