Suggestion vs auto
The two ways Alison acts: apply a routine change herself (auto) or show it and wait (suggestion). Confidence and the kind of action decide which.
In Solo Superstars
Categorizing a known payee is auto. A new payee, a split, or a low-confidence match is a suggestion in the review queue. Anything involving money movement, email, or a status change is always a suggestion.
Example
"VERIZON −120" (seen 11 times): auto to Telephone. "ACME SUPPLY −412" (first time): suggestion, Office Supplies 0.71.
Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.

Related
- Auto-apply threshold — The confidence a single-field suggestion needs before Alison applies it without asking. Whole-document extractions never auto-apply.
- Approval — A change Alison has prepared but will not apply until you say yes. Approving posts it; rejecting discards it and she remembers why.
- Categorization confidence — Alison’s estimate, from 0 to 1, that her suggested account for a transaction is right. Shown on every suggestion.
- Autonomy rate — The share of bookkeeping actions Alison originated (auto-applied or proposed and approved) versus entered by hand. A supporting measure of how much work she carries.
