Anomaly

A transaction or total that departs from your own history enough to be worth a look: a duplicate charge, an outlier amount, a missing recurring payment.

In Solo Superstars

Detected by comparing against your baseline, not a generic rule. Alison explains the comparison in the alert so you can judge it in one glance.

Example

Two −49.99 charges from the same payee on the same day: flagged as a possible duplicate.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.

  • Financial Watch — Alison’s standing check for unusual activity: a vendor charging twice, an expense far above its baseline, a deposit that never cleared.
  • Baseline — What "normal" looks like for an account or payee in your books, learned from recent months. Anomalies are measured against it.
  • Duplicate transaction — The same bank line imported twice, usually from overlapping statements. The importer warns before it happens.
