Who a bank transaction was really with, resolved from the descriptor. One payee can have many descriptors.
In Solo Superstars
Payees link to your vendors and customers where possible. Correct a payee once and the alias is remembered, so the next descriptor variant resolves the same way.
Example
Three descriptors "AMZN Mktp US*2K3", "AMAZON.COM*7H1" and "Amazon Prime" all resolve to payee Amazon.

- Descriptor — The raw text your bank prints on a transaction, like SQ *BLUE BOTTLE 0421. Alison turns it into a payee.
