Bank account
A real place money lives: checking, savings, a credit card, a line of credit, cash on hand. Each one gets its own ledger account automatically.
In Solo Superstars
Add them under Accounting › Bank accounts. Each has a register, an import history, and a reconciliation trail. Processor accounts (Stripe, Square) are a special kind whose ledger twin is a clearing account.
Example
"Chase Business Checking" pairs with 1010 Checking; "Amex Blue" pairs with 2100 Credit Card.

- Bank account vs ledger account — A bank account is a real place money lives (checking, a card, a line of credit). A ledger account is a category in your books. Each bank account pairs with exactly one ledger account.
- Bank transaction — One line from your bank: a deposit, a charge, a fee, a transfer. Imported from a statement, entered by hand, or synced.
- Statement import — Uploading a bank or card statement (CSV or PDF). The importer checks that opening balance plus activity equals the closing balance before anything is saved.
- Opening balance — What a bank account held on the day you started tracking it in Solo Superstars, or on the first day of a statement.
