6010 Bank Charges

Bank service fees, wire fees and card-processing charges. Where Stripe and Square fees land by default.

In Solo Superstars

Card payments post their fee here automatically. A net bank deposit is grossed up so the fee is visible rather than hidden in a smaller sale.

Example

A $36 Stripe fee on a $1,200 payment: debit 6010 36 alongside the payment entry.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
