2150 Customer Store Credit
Store credit you have issued to customers from returns or goodwill and they have not spent yet. A liability, not cash.

Approving a return as store credit posts here. When the customer spends the credit at checkout, it is drawn down like a payment.

A $75 return refunded as credit: debit 4900 Sales Returns & Allowances 75, credit 2150 75.
