Tax rate

The percentage applied to taxable lines for a given state. New workspaces start with a state-level rate for every US state.

In Solo Superstars

Under Settings › Tax rates. Edit a rate or add a local one; the invoice picks the rate for the customer’s state when that state is a nexus state.

Example

CA 7.25% seeded; you add "Oakland local 3.0%" for customers there.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
