Roll-forward check

A year-end probe confirming that last year’s closing balances equal this year’s opening balances for every balance-sheet account.

In Solo Superstars

Runs during the year-end close and any time from the Audit page once a prior year is closed. A mismatch means something was posted into a locked year through a path that bypassed the lock.

Example

Checking closing 2025: 41,880 = opening 2026: 41,880 → pass.

Codes shown are the defaults a new workspace starts with. Yours may be renamed or renumbered — check Accounting › Chart of accounts. See the full default chart.
