What you earn from customers before any costs: product sales, services, shipping charged. The top line of the Income statement.
In Solo Superstars
Revenue accounts are the 4000s. Sending an invoice (accrual) or receiving payment (cash view) is what puts a number here; contra-revenue accounts like returns reduce it.
Example
Sales of Product Income 10,000 + Services 6,000 − Sales Returns (400) = net revenue 15,600.
