Reconciliation period
The statement start and end dates whose activity is being tied to an account balance.

Where it is used: The Reconcile screen uses this range to decide which bank transactions are in scope and what ending balance must tie.
Example
A January 7–February 6 card statement is reconciled as that exact period, not forced into a calendar month.
