Posting date
The date a bank or processor officially records a transaction in its own account activity.
In Solo Superstars
Where it is used: Statement imports preserve it separately when both posting and transaction dates are printed. Do not confuse it with the app timestamp showing when data was entered.
Example
A weekend purchase dated March 30 may have a bank posting date of April 1.
